1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Orilon Realm Gateway, Westward Realms, connected Foundry VTT services, player tools, community systems, or related websites, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
“Orilon,” “Orilon Realm Gateway,” “Westward Realms,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of this website, campaign environment, and related services. “You” and “your” refer to players, visitors, account holders, Game Masters, server users, community members, and anyone accessing the service.
2. Services Provided
Orilon Realm Gateway may provide access to websites, campaign landing pages, Foundry VTT worlds, virtual tabletop sessions, player dashboards, community tools, lore content, maps, scenes, automation, macros, game assets, server access, support, and related services.
Features may change over time. We may add, remove, limit, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, worlds, tools, modules, integrations, maps, assets, characters, or content for security, stability, creative, legal, licensing, operational, or gameplay reasons.
3. Accounts, Credentials, and Access
You are responsible for keeping your login information, passwords, invite links, player access, and account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or assigned player profile.
- You may not share access in a way that compromises other users or the server.
- You may not attempt to access another player’s account, character sheet, private notes, or permissions.
- You must provide accurate contact or identity information when required for access, support, or verification.
- Access may be limited to approved players, invited guests, authorized Game Masters, or approved community members.
We may require verification before restoring account access, changing permissions, recovering characters, or providing support involving private account data.
4. Player and Community Conduct
Orilon is intended to provide a collaborative tabletop and roleplaying environment. You agree to participate respectfully and not disrupt gameplay, harm the platform, or abuse other players.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Harassment, threats, stalking, doxing, hate-based abuse, or targeted intimidation.
- Cheating, exploiting bugs, bypassing permissions, abusing macros, or manipulating game systems without permission.
- Uploading malware, malicious scripts, unauthorized automation, or content that threatens the server or players.
- Attempting to access restricted Foundry data, server files, admin tools, private scenes, hidden notes, or GM-only content.
- Disrupting sessions, impersonating staff, misleading players, or abusing community tools.
- Posting or distributing illegal content, exploitative content, or content that violates third-party rights.
5. Content, Characters, Lore, and World Materials
Orilon Realm Gateway may contain original lore, dialogue, locations, factions, maps, scenes, icons, characters, systems, macros, art direction, automation, story content, and other world materials.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Orilon-created content remains owned or controlled by Orilon or its respective creators. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, clone, publish, or commercially exploit Orilon content without permission.
You may create player characters, backstories, in-game decisions, roleplay contributions, chat messages, notes, or other player-submitted content. By submitting content into the campaign or platform, you grant us permission to use, display, adapt, store, moderate, and incorporate that content as needed to operate the game world and services.
You are responsible for ensuring that anything you upload or submit does not violate copyright, privacy, publicity, licensing, or other third-party rights.
6. Foundry VTT, Modules, Game Systems, and Third-Party Services
Orilon services may rely on Foundry Virtual Tabletop, game systems, modules, plugins, hosting infrastructure, maps, artwork, automation tools, and other third-party software or content.
Third-party tools and content may have their own licenses, terms, limitations, bugs, outages, commercial-use rules, attribution requirements, or compatibility issues. We do not guarantee that any module, system, integration, map, or third-party service will remain available or function permanently.
You agree not to misuse third-party tools, bypass license restrictions, remove required attribution, or use content in a way that violates the rights or rules of its creator, publisher, or platform.
7. Availability, Maintenance, and Changes
We aim to keep Orilon Realm Gateway and Westward Realms available, but availability is not guaranteed. Services may be interrupted by maintenance, updates, restarts, internet issues, hosting issues, software changes, game system updates, module failures, power events, security incidents, or events outside our control.
Game content, maps, scenes, characters, permissions, macros, features, and access rules may change over time for gameplay balance, security, technical stability, story continuity, licensing, or administrative reasons.
8. Data, Saves, Characters, and Backups
Orilon may store player accounts, character data, chat logs, world data, scenes, permissions, notes, uploaded files, macro data, module settings, and other server or campaign data.
We may create backups or snapshots, but backups are not guaranteed. We may not be able to restore deleted, corrupted, overwritten, expired, or lost data.
- Character data may change due to gameplay, moderation, system updates, or administrative correction.
- World data may be reset, migrated, archived, restored, or modified when needed.
- Inactive accounts or unused player data may be removed after extended inactivity.
- Players should not rely on Orilon as permanent storage for personal files or irreplaceable content.
9. Payments, Donations, Subscriptions, and Perks
Orilon may offer paid services, donations, subscriptions, server support contributions, premium community perks, access programs, or other optional support methods in the future.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, donations and voluntary support payments are not purchases of ownership, control, guaranteed access, permanent game rights, intellectual property rights, or uninterrupted service.
Paid access, if offered, may be subject to separate billing terms, refund rules, service descriptions, and platform requirements.
10. Suspension, Removal, and Termination
We may suspend, limit, remove, or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, disrupted gameplay, threatened platform security, abused other users, violated law, violated third-party rules, or created operational risk.
Enforcement may include warnings, permission changes, temporary suspension, character lockout, account removal, content deletion, IP restrictions, or permanent bans.
We may also remove access when a campaign ends, a world is retired, an account becomes inactive, or continued service is no longer practical.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Orilon services are provided on an “as available” and “as configured” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free gameplay, permanent character availability, permanent data retention, compatibility with every device, or continued availability of any module, system, map, feature, or world.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost characters, lost game progress, lost data, downtime, missed sessions, account restrictions, or loss of access.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms, access, account issues, moderation, content concerns, or support should be sent through the official Orilon support or contact method.
Replace this with your real support email, Discord support channel, ticket system, or contact form before publishing.
